The Leadership Expansion

How do you earn the respect and trust needed to be a good leader? As Dwight D. Eisenhower said, "A leader doesn't get his platoon to go by getting up and shouting, 'I am smarter. I am bigger. I am stronger. I am the leader.' He gets his men to go along with him because they want to do it for him and they believe in him."

In The Leadership Expansion, Gina Pellegrini offers specific suggestions on developing leadership skills. She explains why and how to delegate duties, motivate staff, let go of details, and achieve the company vision. With a maximum of 20 people, the 4-hour session is small enough to provide individual attention and answers to specific questions or concerns.

The seminar discusses:

  • How and why to let go of some control
  • The difference between leading and managing
  • Understanding how your team members think
  • Including the team in decisions
  • Setting goals together
  • Defining roles and empowering the team
  • Building compensation to decrease overhead
  • How team members can add value for clients

The Leadership Expansion is held four times a year in Minneapolis. If you want to find out more about leadership development training, call us at 952-829-5300.
